How we handle the personal data you share through this website.

Who we are

This website (business-of-racing.com) is operated by ATP Ltd (United Kingdom) under the trading name The Business of Racing. For the purposes of data protection law, the data controller is ATP Ltd.

What data we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us through our enquiry form:

  • Your name
  • Your company or organisation (optional)
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • The details of your enquiry (group size, preferred format and your message)

We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking technologies on this website, and we do not collect any data automatically beyond what your browser and our hosting provider record as standard server logs.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and this website is not intended for use by children.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

We use the information solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss and arrange our services. Our lawful basis is your consent in submitting the form and our legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries about our services. We do not use your data for marketing without your separate consent, and we never sell it.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is delivered to both founders — Mark Grimes (info@business-of-racing.com) and Steve Prosser (info@business-of-racing.com). To deliver the form, we use the following processors:

  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — processes the form submission and emails it to us.
  • Our email providers, which receive and store the enquiry.
  • Our website host, which serves the site.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) apply.

Data security

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, accessed, altered or disclosed without authorisation. Access is limited to those who need it to respond to your enquiry. If we ever become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and any applicable regulator where we're legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us at info@business-of-racing.com. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — the AEPD in Spain (aepd.es) or the ICO in the UK (ico.org.uk).
